Mount Kenya Hiking: 4 Days 3 Nights In Naro Moru - Out Sirimon Route
This is most popular of all the routes that lead up to the Mountain. It is the steepest and the fastest way up Mt Kenya and ascends the mountain from the west. The route is not particularly scenic but has some of the best tourist accommodations. Most climbers begin at the park gate, although it is possible to drive a vehicle as far as the Met station (3050 metres). Among the challenges in this route include the vertical bog and the extremely steep trail on looses gravel while going up.

The Chogoria route comes highly recommended due the breath taking views like valleys the temple, harns, rivers and water falls accommodation on this route are mainly camps. The descent down the Sirimon route is easy with a view of different vegetation and wildlife. There are huts for accommodation on this route though camping is allowed if one desires.

Day 01: Nairobi- Judmeire Camp (3300m)
After pick in Nairobi you drive to Nanyuki for lunch and preparation after to continue to Sirimon park gate(2650m). From the gate, you trek up through magnificent montane forest, bamboo and giant heather zone before reaching the altitude moorland and to your first hut(Judmeire camp) in time for lunch.
Afternoon at leisure giving may for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 02: Judmeire Camp - Shipton Camp(4200m)
