Day 01: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Your safari driver guide will meet you at your Nairobi city hotel to take you to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. You will board an Air Kenya flight to arrive at Samburu National Reserve mid morning. On arrival you will be transferred to Samburu Sentrim Safari Lodge, Sarova Shaba Lodge, Samburu Sopa lodge or similar for lunch. After a short rest you will go out for an afternoon safari game viewing drive in Samburu game reserve. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Highlights: Hells Gate national park is famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds as well as activities by visitors in the park such as walking, cycling and rock climbing. There are also special locations to view such as Fischers’ Tower formerly a volcano’s plug, the central Tower and Njorowas Gorge. The Olkaria and Hobleys’ the 2 extinct volcanoes are worth a trip as natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock.

Highlight: Enjoy a full-day tour of Lake Nakuru national park, home to one of the most remarkable wild bird populations in all of Africa. Full Day Excursion to Nairobi national park, David Sheldrick and giraffe center. Inclusive of:game drives, park entry fee and service of a professional Safari driver. Transport based on 2-7 people in the vehicle.
