Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning at 06:30ams and depart for Lake Nakuru national park, through The Great African Rift Valley escarpment, arriving for game drive vieiwings around 09:30am until lunch time at lake Nakuru lodge.
Lake Nakuru has earned its fame as the home of the greatest bird spectacle in the world, a myriad of often more than a million pink flamingos that flock to feed at its shallow warm waters. The lake is dubbed "pink" due to the presence of millions of Greater and Lesser flamingoes, among the wild big cats. You also spot the white and black Rhino, the Cape Buffaloes, and the Rothschild Giraffe as well as other smaller wildlife such as the Thompson Gazelle.

Lake Nakuru is Kenya's most visited national park. Located 160km and 2½ hours drive from Nairobi, the park is an important Ramsar site and home to thousands of different bird species. The 188sq km Lake Nakuru national park is the only KWS-administered game park that is fully enclosed. Once just a bird sanctuary, Lake Nakuru park is now the best place in Kenya to see the highly protected black and white rhino. Among other animals found in the park include rhino, lion, leopard, cheeter, flamingos, Egyptian geese, waterbuck, giraffe, hyena, buffalo, baboons, velvet monkeys, gazelles.

Depending on how much wildlife we come across, we will leave the park between 15:00pm and 16:00pm to arrive back in Nairobi between 18:00pm and 19:00pm and we drop you at your hotel or at the airport. Don’t miss this opportunity to get up close with some of Kenya’s most amazing birds and other wildlife.
